BODY & APPEARANCE.

1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Tall, slender, yet blessed with womanly curves. Frühling stands near 5'8" and only wears shoes that have 2.5" heels, no less. Her cup size is D. Fair, healthy skin (except for scar marks besides her right eye—hidden). Her muscles are toned to enough to keep everything tight. Her bone structure seems long, from her limbs to her fingers to hair and her features. She would appear regal if not for the constant office attire she wears, particularly a pinstriped double-breasted suit.

2. How old is he?
Somewhere between 25 and 30, deducing from other character's ages. She is a second(?) generation subject, after Fuyumine and Herbst but before Naoto and Heine.

3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
Straight and proper. An intimidating commander. May seem too rigid, but her flexibility is reserved for fighting and other activities. Tends to keep her spine straight, even when sitting, unless of course she leans to one side or focuses on accentuating her curves.

4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
Very fit. No illnesses. Has some psychological issues (inferiority complex, fear of abandonment/disposal/etc.) though she's good at showing them only when she wants. No physical disabilities besides a damaged right eye—still there, but clarity is hampered.

5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Militaristic, rhythmic, and undeniably self-assured. She walks like she can own the place. All it'd take is a flick of her wrist. Her strides are measured, her turns controlled, and it all comes from habit, the ever constant reliance on her abilities.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
Frühling's beauty is like that of a knife. Slim, undecorated, maybe even classic, yet all the more alluring for its fundamental lethality. No trifles, no embellishments, just a clean-cut, powerful silhouette. It is the image of her choice, and she has achieved it. Now, she simply maintains it.

7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Fair, cool undertones. It's safe to assume Frühling has never been under the sun, though if she did get exposure, she'd probably burn brown instead of bronze because her skin is not used to it. If given the chance to adjust with the appropriate products, however, she'd probably end up a nice shade of toasty tan. Frühling possibly has several scars around her body, particularly on her forearms or legs, from training exercises in her earlier years, but they've all probably disappeared by now. Her most notable scar is hidden beneath her bangs: a large, star-like laceration spreading from her hairline up to the outer end of her right eye. It was earned during a training session with her mentor.

8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Frühling's hair is pin-straight, cascading in long, thick sheets of dark chocolate brown. While most of her hair is cut to one length, her bangs are cut in sections and in upward angles, from the tip of her nose up to her cheekbones. Always side-parts it, to the right. She trims it herself constantly to prevent split ends and knots. Every few months she will use a moisturizing mask.

9. What color are his eyes?
Grey-blue, cold as steel.

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Her thighs don't touch Frühling looks very tall, and she is, but the way she carries herself makes her seem like a tower, rigid, impenetrable. While her features seem perfectly chiseled and are undoubtedly attractive, they are not delicate or angelic. Her smiles are more like a baring of fangs.

11. What are his chief tension centers?
Calves, right arm, wrists, lower back, neck. She wears heels and seems to do some fancy, high-speed footwork; the power in her strikes come from her core, extended by her arm and executed by her wrists. She's like a restless guard dog, standing for long periods of time and an uptight attitude pools tension in her lower back and neck.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
Sharp, business-like, and neutral. Black and white, expensive fabric, but she'd have two of the same outfit and six more pairs in similar patterns.

13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
Although her suits are most likely tailored for her, she probably only has a small selection of textiles to choose from (crumbling industries and commerce and all). For the most part, she does seem comfortable in her clothes. Frühling would demand a perfect fit to enforce her harsh, straightforward rules and personality. Her dress shirts have hidden buttons.

14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
Not much free time, so to speak. She would have worn different uniforms, from body-fitting training suits to the heavy-duty dog uniforms, mask included (though maybe not exactly the current DOG models). Now a head officer in the laboratory's military, she is probably asked to wear a custom suit to set her apart from the infantry. As it is a symbol, she wears her "uniform" all the time. She seems to be allowed to wear her dress shirt somewhat unbuttoned.

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs Thongs, panties or commando?
Brazilian panties, more often than thongs. It's cold underground, and floss-like intimates don't work well with pants that make her itch sometimes. Low rise and partial rear coverage is a comfortable in between. Lots of black, lace, and silk. However, if she's behind on laundry, she doesn't mind going commando.

SPEECH.

1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Deep, husky, cocky. Like Ada Wong, but not as coy.

2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
Like most everything else Frühling does, she speaks only when she wants to, and she makes herself clear and audible without shouting or yelling.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
Not really, besides expressions of exasperation, like clicking her teeth or huffing.

4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
What are languages in DOGS canon—um, probably just one and familiar with another for secrecy.

5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
Only for the sake of secrecy, or perhaps her commands to the Dog troops are given in whatever other language.

6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
Either, depending on the situation. She's the type to think a lot about what she would say to someone, but when it comes down to the wick, anything else can happen, and she aims for the greatest effect.

7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
She is articulate. Doesn't cut corners but aims straight to the heart of the matter.

MENTAL & EMOTIONAL.

1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
Both. Her memory was wiped before she became a test subject, but her memory capacity was expanded thereafter in order to accumulate fighting techniques through practice and observation. As her lot was meant to command, she was probably fed a few books on related topics, about war and weaponry and psychological engineering. Things stuck before she realized.

2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
Thinks on her feet. Frühling is prepared to act or react to any situation, whether it's cutting down insubordinations or withdrawing for reassessment.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Logical, practical. Perfection is more likely to be found in the mind than in the soul. She may look to fulfilling ideals, but she's practical about executing them.

4. What kind of education has the character had?
Nothing normal. Only what is pertinent to her purpose as an instrument of war.

5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
The art of killing? Maybe liquor, also. How to tie (boating) knots. She'd look through a VOGUE magazine too, though…

6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
Introvert! For sure.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Mostly exhibits condescending apathy, but her temper can be easily triggered and demonstrates itself violently. She's extremely driven by her own motives to remain in power, even willing to go after a child that threatened to replace her. She can contain her anger for a little while if only to lash it out at a more appropriate time, but she does need to injure something to obtain relief.

8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
Cautiously, angrily, contemptuously. She will struggle to rise above whatever or whomever it is and keep them there, fixed beneath her feet, waiting to be crushed. If she meets someone similar to her, however, she approaches with much more curiosity than expected.

9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
Both. Passive unless bored or obligated to act.

10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
Fight—but Frühling, for all her potential rage, is prudent, and can assess which option is better in a given situation. She won't fight meaninglessly, especially if she's got something to lose.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
She's a stiff. Most jokes she'll find idiotic or repugnant… but if she ever cracks one out herself, it'd be with a poker face.

⒓ Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
Unknown, though she'd likely deal with whatever she has with violence.

⒔ What moments in this character's life have defined his as a person?
Becoming another one of Prof. Einstürzen's puppets. Feeling love from and for her mentor, Winter—Fuyumine Murato—broken as it was; he gave her the name "Naoto." Being almost thrown away by the Professor.

⒕ What does he fear?
Losing her worth and therefore being replaced.

⒖ What are his hopes or aspirations?
To have no reason to fear being thrown away.

⒗ What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
The scar, her weaknesses, that she might actually have a heart.

RELATIONSHIPS.

⒈ Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
Doesn't remember them—though, headcanon: she actually came from a mafia family, and they sold her to Einstürzen's project.

⒉ Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
Blood-related, probably none. Magato is a batch-mate, and he often refers to her as "big sister." She's repulsed by him for his lack of finesse and possibly for turning tail without her (though the exact circumstances have yet to be revealed in canon).

⒊ Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
None that she knows of and are alive.

⒋ Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
The other Naoto, the girl she tried to kill. She wasn't family, but she was meant to be her spare. Possibly a clone, possibly not, but they are certainly trying to kill each other.

⒌ Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
No best friends, whoops!

⒍ Does he have other close friends?
Frühling doesn't keep anyone that close. Only "friendly" acquaintances, acquired for their usefulness and not their companionship.

⒎ Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
Trouble! Lots of it. She can't trust and can't be trusted.

⒏ Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
Neither. Herself.

⒐ Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
Single.

⒑ Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
She has romantic feelings for a mentor that she was told died but then he magically appears… alive. Very alive.

⒒ Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
Murato… and Murato. The one who built her up from a pile of nothing, the one who might have committed treason to protect her, but also the one who left her behind with unresolved feelings.

⒓ What does he look for in a romantic partner?
Power. Loyalty. Malleability.

⒔ Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
No for all!

⒕ Does he have any rivals or enemies?
Her spare, Naoto #2, is definitely her rival. One of her goals was to eliminate her, but because she got cocky and didn't finish the job properly, the goal turned into vendetta, especially since the spare has taken up Murato's sword. On that note, Murato and Magato betrayed her for nurturing the child, and so did Herbst, for not telling her Murato had died, though she never trusted him in the first place. She only deals with him since he is her only liaison to her lost mentor.

⒖ What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale?
Bisexual. She would be a 3, equally homosexual and heterosexual. Frühling is attracted to darkness, to the broken, and will lust after anyone who portrays broken perfection like hers, regardless of gender. In a way, it's narcissistic.

⒗ How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him?
She enjoys it, but it's got to be kinky, and she needs to dominate, but she can live a considerable amount of time without it. Though she could and would satisfy herself, she'd rather let the tension build up until she finds the perfect tool (aka victim person) to release herself with.

⒘ What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
For starters, Frühling has a huge sex drive, but appeasing it is an ordeal. She won't allow herself the pleasure unless she's certain it will be well worth the effort.

Turn-ons: pain/injury, begging, bondage, subjugation. Turn-offs: lack of hygiene and self-control, sentimental attachment, premature ejaculation. Prefers her partners clean and shaven.

Basically, she likes being the one in control. Watching her partner suffer with pain and/or pleasure gets her off. Perhaps as a result of the subconscious effect Einstürzen had on Frühling, she enjoys the idea of destruction. She wants someone whom she can break but at the same time would fight against it, only to prove their struggle is futile. That said, rough and/or fight sex is preferred, and so is foreplay, though she would only bother with it if she cares to know more about the person. Foreplay is an interpretation of the hunt and thus a respected art. It is a journey through illusion to lull the prey so that it settles right upon her jaws.

Oppositely, nothing shuts her down like instant surrender. People who give up easily are reprehensible. She also can't deal with affection of any kind. It's like she's allergic to it, though it's primarily because she won't give it to herself. Love makes her vulnerable… so she refuses any inkling of it.

As for weird habits… due to her idolizing the idea of perfection, Frühling would insist the same upon her partners. She'll throw them into a bath if they're not clean and toss a razor if they're not at least trimmed. Though she can stand for a fractured surface, beauty is a must. She didn't sculpt herself this way to please the less privileged.

BELIEFS.

⒈ Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type?
First thought she'd be an Aries, but she now seems more like a Capricorn! Hard to read, hard to reach, steadfast and motivated, introverted, pessimistic, emotional, etc. She's less fire and more earth, storing reckoning power yet pliant to other elements.

⒉ Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
Neither. Not important at all, though she knows enough to recognize a priest's garb.

⒊ Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
No morals whatsoever. She'll appear to respect superiors and follow rules, though it's all in the favour of personal gain, of earning trust so that she could work on her own agenda in their blind spots. If not for that freedom, she'd sooner commit sacrilege before it all.

⒋ How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
Indifferent yet curious. It's not her job to change anyone's perspectives, and neither is it her problem, but she's willing to learn how others view what she knows.

⒌ What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
To an extent, she was taught the value of a person's life relies on his ability to survive so she holds a grudge against people who give up or throw their lives away for others, the latter especially a sore subject because she doesn't understand the concept of self-sacrifice. Relatively speaking, how can anyone be worth more than their own life? Friends and family were but ashes to her as far she could remember. They're not worth the sacrifice, because surely they wouldn't do the same.

DAILY LIFE.

⒈ What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
I would imagine she is comfortably wealthy, enough to afford high-quality liquor and custom clothes, but since she has nothing to truly save up for, she spends as equally as she earns.

⒉ What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
Pre-Einstürzen, I think Frühling was a part of a declining mafia family. She was pampered with whatever means was accessible her parents, but as life got grimmer, she was sold off. It might've been a great bargain, but the family was probably removed from the picture in order to insure Frühling's memory wipe stays permanent.

Thus, Frühling—or, rather, whatever subject number she had—started out as nothing when she was folded into the Einstürzen project. She learned killing well would reap rewards and that failing to do so would lead to disposal so she fought her way to the top. Whoever needed to die for her to ascend and cement herself a place that could not be conquered would die by her hand.

Naturally, however, this social construct rooted a fear of losing within her as much as it did an apathy towards taking a life. After all, no one who isn't cold, cruel, or selfish cannot survive in a den of wild dogs.

In turn, she took on the name of "Frühling," because "Naoto" (translated "straight blade") was too pure for person she forged herself into. Furthermore, Frühling is German for "spring", which comes after "winter"—the moniker given to her mentor.

⒊ Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
A private room in a compound of the research facility, possibly no bigger than 100-150 sq. metres including a full bathroom, and separate from the testing areas but close to the hangar, control room, and launch stations—or whatever is their equivalent.

⒋ Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
Liquor and clothes, both exceeding high-quality.

⒌ What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
She assassinates traitors/invaders and commands an army of scientifically immortal soldiers. She's impeccable enough to strike fear into the hearts (questionable) of said soldiers. She enjoys organizing the hunt, but she'd rather choose her own targets.

⒍ What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?
Her hobbies take a lot of work to begin and clean up after. Rather than waste that energy, she instead seeks to balance it out with self-grooming, weapon maintenance, working out, and, if possible, drinking to cathartic instrumental music. Being in charge of the Twins does no interfere with this routine.

⒎ What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
Drinks more than she eats. She eats irregularly, but her diet consists of things her body needs rather than what she wants. Chopping things up and putting them into a blender/processor is the extent of her culinary expertise. Everything else she'd just buy ready.

Ⅹ Animal?
Wolf, alpha female (of course). A hunter, a predator, a creature to be feared. The only place she feels she belongs is at the top of the hierarchy. She can domineer a pack, but she can also act on her own. This doesn't mean she is a "lone wolf," only that she can work without the assistance of her kin. However, no matter how much stronger she is than the rest of them, she is still beneath the alpha male and bound by the structural yokes of her own lifestyle.
